Debra J. Davis, 61, of Frances St., Ellwood City (Franklin Twp.) passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born December 21, 1955 in Bellevue, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Marie M. Hess Jones. Debra enjoyed horseback riding and was an avid Steeler fan. Martha E. Stelter, 75, of Moravia passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh following a short illness. Born September 13, 1941 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Sarah Allen Crawford. She was married for 57 years to Chuck Stelter who survives. They were married November 24, 1959. Martha graduated from Mohawk High School. She worked as a phlebotomist for Labcorp in New Castle for many years. She then worked in the office of Dr. Lawrence Fazioli . Margaret R. (Watson) Gioffre, of Koppel, died at home on July 1, 2017. Margaret’s husband, Lou Gioffre, died in 2002. They were happily married for 56 years. Margaret had a real zest for life, and she lived it to the fullest. She valued her family above everything and enjoyed springtime, sitting on her back porch, challenging her brain with crossword puzzles, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Sunday afternoons were frequently spent watching golf on TV. She especially enjoyed musical theater, had many favorites shows, and could sing along with many Broadway tunes. Born February 15, 1918 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Zenovia Toda Pope. She was married to George Popa Jr. who died June 8, 1959.
