VIDEO: Police Looking For Suspects Throwing Beer Bottles At Cars

According to a publish report, state authorities say, in a reckless and dangerous spree, someone is throwing beer bottles into car windshields along Route 288 Wampum Road. According to a KDKA video report, it has happened three times in less than a week on the dark and winding stretch of Route 288. All three victims are teenagers and parents aren’t too thrilled. State police are investigating, but they don’t have many leads.  If you have information to help police solve the crime spree, please contact your local authorities.


Panthers, Wolverines Baseball Teams On Opposite Ends of Shutouts

The Riverside varsity baseball team came out on the victors end of a shutout on Thursday while the Wolverines took a shutout defeat on Thursday. The Panthers defeated Mohawk Area 8-0 on Thursday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Riverside notched four runs in the sixth inning. VIDEO: Overnight Car Crash In North Sewickley Twp, 1 Injured

A motorist was taken to the hospital after crashing into a Beaver County home early Wednesday morning. According to a published report, the crash happened near the intersection of Mercer and Brighton roads in North Sewickley Township, across from Sumner’s Car Wash, around 2:50 a.m. The vehicle went off the road, through some bushes and struck the chimney, which scattered bricks and debris throughout the yard.   Car crashes into home, bricks fly everywhere. Ellwood City Wolverines Can’t Catch Up To Armstrong

Ellwood City watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 14-4 loss to Armstrong on Saturday. Armstrong scored on a ground out by Caleb Harriger, a walk by Josh Hepler, an error, and a stolen base by Paul Cypher in a 5-run first inning. The Wolverines struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Armstrong, giving up 14 runs on 11 hits, with the defense surrendering four errors. Riverside Panthers Fall to Knoch After Sixth Inning Score

Riverside Panthers varsity baseball battled to tie their ball game late, but failed to hold the tie score int he sixth inning, surrendering two runs in a 4-2 defeat to Knoch on Wednesday at Pullman Park in Butler. The game was tied at two with Knoch batting in the bottom of the sixth when Gunnar Boehm’s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Knoch. Riverside lost despite out-hitting Knoch six to three. The Ellwood City baseball squad watched their Monday afternoon game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 13-2 loss to Shenango.
