One Person Dead After Two-Vehicle Crash In Wampum

According to a multiple news report, one person has died following a two-vehicle accident in Wampum this morning. According to WFMJ.com website, the crash happened Friday morning at approximately 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Route 18 and Route 288. One of the vehicles involved was a tri-axial dump truck that collided with a passenger car. One person was trapped in a vehicle while the other was covered at the scene. The Ellwood City Girls Softball League has announced its 2020 slow pitch softball sign-ups. Riv-Ell Split: RHS Girls, LHS Boys Victorious

In what could amount to a collective draw between rival districts this week, the Riverside girls basketball team collected victory on Monday while the Ellwood City boys team was victorious last night. Both home teams won their host games in the Riv-Ell match-ups. For the girls, Panther Marley Wolf led all scorers with 15 points as the Lady Panthers (7-6 overall) raced out to a comfortable lead early and won 43-21 on Monday. Ellwood City will be pre-selling basketball tickets for the Tuesday, January 14th basketball game against Riverside. Ellwood City High School will presale Student tickets for $2.00. In November, Chive opened its doors on Lawrence Avenue. With its first month over, people have either eaten there, heard of it, or are among those of us that are wondering what exactly this new restaurant is.
