Kevin Eckenrode, 58

Kevin Thomas Eckenrode, 58, of Butler, passed away at his residence on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026. Born April 6, 1967, in Ellwood City, he was a son of the late Thomas L. Eckenrode and Judith L. Ketterer Eckenrode. He was a member of New Beginnings Free Methodist Church, Butler. He loved baseball and football, and he was an avid fan of both Penn State and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Fish Fry At Holy Redeemer Catholic Center On Wednesday

Lent Fish Fry Season Is Here! Divine Grace Parish will host a fish fry on Ash Wednesday, February 18th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Center, 311 Lawrence Avenue, Ellwood City. Come enjoy golden fried or bake fish, mac and cheese, cole slaw, and a slice of cake. Dine in or take out. Dinners are $16, Sandwiches are $10, and extra sides are $3. PHOTOS: Riverside Coed Swimming Senior Night

The Riverside Coed Swimming & Diving team hosted Central Valley on Wednesday Night as part of its senior night. The team will next turn its attention to the MAC Swimming Championships this weekend and the WPIAL Class AA Swimming Championships on February 26, 2026 at the University of Pittsburgh. The 2026 WPIAL/UPMC Sports Medicine Boys’ & Girls’ Swimming & Diving Championships begin with the diving championships on February 20-21 before concluding with the swimming championships on February 26-27.

Trinity Lutheran Church Hosting Drive-Thru Ashes On February 18th

Trinity Lutheran Church will be holding a Drive Through Ashes Distribution on Ash Wednesday, February 18th. Pastor Dave Saylor will be available that day from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and Noon to 1:00 PM.
