Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of July 20th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

BOOK SALE COLLECTION:

We are now taking donations for the book sale in October. We do not take text books, readers digest condensed books, magazines, encyclopedias or VHS tapes.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, JULY 20

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

TUESDAY, JULY 21

• 10:15 a.m. – “Jumpstart to Kindergarten,” for children starting kindergarten in the fall.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 1:15 p.m. – “Dino Days for Kindergarten – 2nd grade”

WEDNESDAY, JULY 22

• 10:15 a.m. – “Dino Days for 3rd – 4th grade”
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 1:15 p.m. – Dino Days 5th & Up”
• 2:30 p.m. – “Books, Thoughts & Snacks,” will meet in the program room. Grades 6th -12th pick their own books then complete a book journaling while eating snacks.

THURSDAY, JULY 23

• 10:30 a.m. – “Music & Movement,” all ages and abilities invited to do singing and dancing to different dinosaur songs.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 6:00 p.m.- “Friends of the Library,” meet in the program room.

FRIDAY, JULY 24

• 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” bring your own supplies or use ours.
• 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” work on your own individual projects while socializing with other knitters.

SAVE THE DATE.

July 29th 6:00 p.m. – End of Summer Party with Steve the Magician.

August 8th 4:30p.m. – 7:30p.m. – The 4th Annual Wine Walk. Local wines, craft beers and spirits paired with your favorite restaurants and food vendors. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite and at the Library. $25 for one ticket. Two for $45 and six for $125.
