Volunteers Needed For Franklin Township Parks & Rec Committee

The Franklin Township Board of Supervisors is seeking volunteers to serve on the newly established Parks & Recreation Committee.

The committee will advise the Board on parks, trails, open space, recreation facilities, community events, grant opportunities, fundraising, and future recreation projects throughout the Township. This includes Franklin Township Community Park and the future Hereford Manor Lakes property, which the Township is working to acquire from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission to preserve as permanent green space for future generations.

The committee will consist of seven volunteer members appointed by the Board of Supervisors and will meet at least quarterly.
