Lawrence County’s Earth Day Celebration is Saturday April 25th!
Earth Day reminds us to take action, whether it’s planting trees, cutting down on waste, or pushing for greener policies.
The annual celebration will be held on Saturday, April 25th at Ewing Park, Ellwood City from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. featuring many exhibits, events, and fun for the whole family.

- Local Entertainers
- Food Trucks and Food Vendors
- Children’s Activities
- Paper Shredding
- Vendors selling earth-friendly products
- Local Organizations providing environmental education
- Wild World of Animals Educational Presentation
A-R-T Show (All Recycled Treasures)
- Transform everyday materials into something extraordinary! This showcase and competition celebrates creativity and sustainability. (Trashion-style creations are still welcome!) Entries will be displayed for public voting, with cash prizes awarded across age groups.
Photography Contest
- Capture what you love about the Earth! Submit a photo that reflects your favorite natural moments, places, or perspectives. Photos will be displayed at the event, and the public will vote for winners in each age category, with cash prizes for the top entries.
Important: Registration required. All entries for both contests must be brought to Ewing Park by 10 AM on April 25. Winners will be announced at 1 PM.
