Riverside Sports Hall of Fame Announces $10,000 in Support for Student‑Athletes and Scholarships
The Riverside Sports Hall of Fame (RSHOF) is proud to announce a commitment of $10,000 to support the Riverside Athletic and Scholarship Programs.
As part of this contribution, RSHOF will serve as the majority sponsor ($3,000) for the Riverside Girls Basketball Team’s summer training program at Reign 3D. The program includes 16 total workouts, each featuring one hour of skills training followed by one hour of strength and conditioning. These sessions will be open to all current JV and Varsity players, as well as incoming freshmen.
With no seniors on this year’s roster and a promising group of incoming freshmen, RSHOF is excited to support the continued growth and success of this young and talented team.
RSHOF has also dedicated $3,000 to the Riverside High School Football Team to support much‑needed upgrades to practice equipment.
In addition to athletics funding, we are honored to provide two $2,000 scholarships through the Renee Giles Memorial Scholarship Program—one to a male student and one to a female student. Recipients will be recognized at the annual Riverside Sports Hall of Fame Banquet.
The 2026 RSHOF Banquet will be held on Saturday, May 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at Shakespeare’s Restaurant & Pub.
