Ellwood City will open its regular season next Friday versus the Laurel Spartans.
Tickets for the August 22nd home football game versus Laurel can be purchased online at https://gofan.co/app/school/PA6449.
Physical tickets are no longer sold in the high school office, but may be purchased at the gate at the stadium. Adult All Sports passes and Student Superfan passes can also be purchased online using the same link. Senior citizen passes can still be picked up at the main office of Lincoln High School during the school day.
Last season, Ellwood City wrapped up a historic season of firsts – first undefeated season since 1944, first conference title since 1997, and first WPIAL semifinals appearance since 1987. The unbeaten Wolverines season came to an end when they were defeated by South Park 28-7 in the WPIAL Class 2A semifinals at North Allegheny High School.
