CRASH REPORT:
Delores Lipchey Holcomb, 31, of Marienville, was in an accident on July 30th at approximately 9:52 p.m. Police responded to a report of a vehicle crash that hit a deer on PA-488. No injuries were observed and Holcomb was abiding to traffic laws, according to a police report.
ACCIDENT:
Christopher Gallagher, 45, of Butler, was in an accident on July 30th at approximately 4:03 p.m. Police responded to a report of a vehicle crash on PA-488 and, according to police investigation, Gallagher was traveling at improper speeds and attempted to make a left turn which caused him to make impact with the guard rail and fence. No injuries were observed according to the police report.
BURGLARY:
On or between the dates of August 3rd and August 5th police responded to a report of an open door in the area of Pulaski Township 400-Block. Police observed an open door and signs of burglary, though nothing appeared to be stolen according to a criminal complaint. Police are requesting if anyone has evidence or has any knowledge of the incident to contact PSP New Castle at 724-598-2211 and to reference incident number PA2025-963943.
BURGLARY:
On August 8th at approximately 3:37 p.m. Police responded to a report of burglary at Pulaski Township 1500-Block. The complainant advised officers upon their arrival that he observed a woman driving a U-Haul track had broken into the business with a man and had scared them off. He also advised that they had fled from the location on SR 208 at a high speed according to a criminal complaint. Police are requesting if anyone has evidence or any knowledge of the incident to contact PSP New Castle at 724-598-2211 and reference incident number PA2025-962978.
THEFT:
David Carter, 46, of Ellwood City is charged with Theft after an incident occurring on July 31st. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 4:58 p.m., police were dispatched to the area around Holy Redeemer Church and B&B Express for a male identified as Carter who stole money from a female victim. The victim advised that she thought Carter stole her credit card and that he was walking toward B&B Express. Upon arrival, police located Carter and observed him holding a Monster Energy he had just purchased. The victim arrived on scene and also mentioned around $100.00 was missing from her purse, and when officers instructed Carter to empty his pockets he removed around $85.00 that he advised that he had got it from a job he worked the complaint related. When police threatened to call his employer, Carter changed his story to “I had it saved up.” Police also observed a strong alcoholic odor emanating from Carter and he was later detained according to a criminal complaint.
THEFT:
Charles Kriegisch, 26, of Ellwood City, is charged with Theft after an incident occurring on August 6th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 7:28 p.m., police were dispatched to Ellwood City Sheetz where they were advised Kriegisch had stolen alcohol and fled. Officers located Kriegish and questioned him, to which he lied until officers informed him they would be reviewing security footage. Kriegish admitted to stealing the beverages and said “Just take me to jail.” Kriegish was taken into custody without incident according to the complaint.
SIMPLE ASSAULT:
Joshua Hall, 43, of Ellwood City, is charged with Simple Assault after an incident occurring on August 6th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 12:36 a.m., police were advised by a caller that the female victim refused a forced advancement from Hall and had attempted to exit the vehicle by the Ellwood City 7-11. Hall began to assault the female by grabbing her by the neck and striking her multiple times according to the complaint with the female finally being able to open the door to the vehicle, exiting and entering the convenience store to hide in the bathroom. Officers evaluated the victim and walked across the street to Hall’s residence where he exited and was detained and arrested according to the complaint.
DUI:
Alyssa Holzer, 34, of Portersville, is charged with DUI after a crash occurring on April 24th at approximately 1:17a.m. Police were dispatched to a two vehicle crash near Perry Hwy. Police were advised that Holzer had crashed into the back of a garbage truck and had admitted to drinking alcohol before driving according to a criminal complaint.
DUI:
Ethan Houk, 23, of Ellwood City, is charged with DUI after a crash occurring on June 25th. According to a criminal complaint, and approximately 9:02 p.m, police responded to a report of a vehicle wrecked into a pole at Old Princeton Rd and Old State Rd. Police made contact with Houk and observed bloodshot eyes and an alcoholic odor emitting from his person. Houk was detained after denying having drinking according to the complaint.
