The Lincoln Class of 1954 First Luncheon 71st Reunion was held on Saturday, July 5th at Shakespeare’s Restaurant and Pub.
Arrivals were greeted by chairmen Ilene Gardner and Pudue LaCava and received name tags from Judy Portugallo. Guests were seated at tables decorated in red, white and blue and place settings were marked with bags of goodies provided by Gardner.
Festivities began with a welcome from Gardner acknowledging Chairman John Tino’s organizing and efforts and was unable to attend due to conflicts in schedules. She acknowledged the 14 class members and their seven guests in attendance and all the assistance that was available.
Gardner introduced Ronald Cusato, husband of class member, Joyce Wiley, who voiced the Invocation.
The “order from menu” food was then served by the Shakespeare staff.
Classmates in attendance were Gardner, Pudue Lacava, Judy Portugallo, Mike Newman and Scott, Jan Garda, Ruth (Chima) and husband Bob Reisinger, Ted Syphirt and wife Lois, Joyce (Wiley) and her husband Ron Cusato, Don Strutt, Herman D’amico, Freida (Hahn) McRath, Virginia (Bauder) Kline, Nancy (Pietrandrea) Piecuch and her guest Joe Striet, “Dolly” “LaCava” Boots, Clemmy Sirimarco and her nephew Dan Nelson.
Concluding the affair Gardner presented planning for a Class of ‘54 Second lunch (72nd Reunion) summer of 2026. All class members will be notified.
