This year is an introduction of the new, rebuilt trolley replica.
The Ellwood City Historical Society is attempting to be at as many functions that The Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce and the Ellwood City Borough May have planned this year showcasing the ELLSWORTH – Harmony Short Line Trolley.
For this to happen and planning of events the historical society needs a commitment from the Society membership and friends.
“Please volunteer and enjoy the company of your fellow members. It maybe time to make new friends, so spend a few hours at our planned events for your enjoyment and learning,” says Andrew F. Kindle, 1st Vice President. “At the same time you may have ideas that can provide a better process or procedure to improve the events.”
The year 2025 embarks on another adventure of making the community of Ellwood City more aware of our original mission, it is to Promote, Preserve, and Perpetuate History of Ellwood City. The members of the
Society and residents of the area have been generous over the last 37 years in that you have shared your History, your gifts and monies so that we may progress in being an active Society.
