TERRORISTIC THREATS:
Michael Polky, 24, of Georgetown, PA, is charged with Terroristic Threats and Simple Assault after an incident on October 16th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 5:39 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence on Wampum Avenue for a domestic. A caller reported her friend was just assaulted by her ex-boyfriend and the suspect fled the scene. Police responded to the residence and interviewed the victim who related that Polky came over to get the rest of his things but he attitude soon changed and he grabbed the victim by her throat and pushed and choked her the complaint relates. The victim also told police that Polky removed a semi auto pistol from his waist and reportedly pointed at the victim’s head and jokingly told her he wanted to pistol whip her. Officers observed redness and marks on the victim and she advised officers she would like to charge Polky for the incident.
HARRASSMENT:
On December 3rd at approximately 5:01 p.m., PA State Police were dispatched to a residence on Joffre Street Ext for a welfare check. Upon arrival it was discovered that a 22-year-old male from Ellwood City was refusing to let his 21-year-old female partner leave the residence and held her against her own will. Charges will be filed.
DUI:
On November 17th at approximately 12:16 a.m., The Pennsylvania State Police stopped a 1999 Toyota Camry on Portersville Rd/French Way, Perry Township, whose operator showed signs of impairment. The 53 year old male from Ellwood City was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The blood results are pending, and charges will be filed.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:
On July 29th at approximately 12:11 a.m., a 66-year-old male victim, of Edinburg, noticed a large stockpile of wood was smoldering and was able to extinguish the fire. The damage of goods totaled approximately $150. Anyone with information or video surveillance should contact PSP- New Castle at 724-598-2211 and reference the incident number PA23-991843.
THEFT:
On October 1st at approximately 10:27 a.m., a 74-year-old victim withdrew money from her bank account on Vosler Road and sent it to an unknown person. The victim, from Volant, PA, withdrew money repeatedly over the course of a month and a half totaling an amount of around $54,206.00. The investigation has no leads.
ASSAULT:
On the 25th of November at 3:32 p.m. a male and female party broke into a verbal argument regarding an IPAD. The verbal argument escalated into a physical altercation into which the 27-year-old-male from Clymer, PA, struck and choked a 26-year-old female of Enon Valley PA, leading to injuries on her neck and right hand. The male party suffered minor injuries near the neck area of his upper body. The incident took place on Mount Jackson Road. The investigation is currently ongoing.
TERRORISTIC THREATS:
On the 27th of July at approximately 3:48AM, Pennsylvania State Police responded to a 911 call regarding one Henry, 42-year-old male, of Ellwood City. The call stated that during a gathering in the woods near Canal Street, the arrestee, Henry, threatened a female, 41-year-old, of Rochester, victim with a knife and headbutted her. Henry was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, and harassment. The name of the victim is not stated due to the incident being domestic violence.
ASSAULT:
Sheila Bable, 54, of Wampum, is charged with Assault after an incident on November 27th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 1:09 a.m., PA State Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on John Kennedy Street, Wampum. The complaint relates Bable wanted a male removed from her residence in which she shares with her fiancé. A visitor entered Bable’s residence and had invited Main to visit as well. When Police arrived, police discovered Bable had assaulted the victim by pulling his shirt with such force that it had caused a significant laceration on the man’s back and neck the report relates. The injury was about three inches long with fresh blood and clotting according to the report. Photographs were taken of the wound by police investigators. Police interviewed the victim and stated that Bable began arguing with the visitor and he intervened which led to Bable growing more erratic. When he refused to leave after Bable has demanded him to, that is when the arrestee grabbed him. Bable was arrested and removed from the residence and charged with Simple Assault and Harassment.
