The Lincoln High School class of 1954 celebrated their 72nd anniversary with the 2026 Annual Luncheon on Saturday, July 14th at the Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church.
Co-Chairman, Ilene Gardner welcomed the 25 classmates and their guests Co-chairman Pudue LaCava and aides, Jackie Perno and Judy Portugallo, presented each person with a name tag. Observing the 250th USA Birthday the dinner area featured white table covers and places marked with blue bags of candy and red napkins. Tables of memorabilia lined the area along with the buffet and featured Ilene’s Class of 54 Desserts table.
Visiting, comparing health problems, comparing families growth and just renewing provided a happy occasion. Gardner called on Ron Cusato to voice the invocation. She invited all to the buffet luncheon featuring baked chicken, roasted potato wedges, pulled pork, pasta salad, three bean salad, homemade coleslaw and rolls
The dessert table held tiers of tart size chocolate, coconut cream, and lemon-strawberry pies, bowl of cut watermelon, cantaloupe, assorted summer fruits, strawberries with dipping sauces of pineapple, mallow and amaretto. All were greatly enjoyed.
Gardner and her daughter, Kim Groom, her son, Jeff Gardner prepared and served all the food and cold drinks to the very appreciative guests. Classmate and their guests in attendance were:

All agreed to plan a 2027 luncheon at the same place, time and date to be advised. Concluding the affair the committee on behalf of all expressed their appreciation for John Tino hosting the affair in memory of his beloved wife and Co-Chairman, Pat Pavuk.
