PHOTOS: Lincoln High School Top Nine And Graduating Class Of 2019

Lincoln High School has 117 seniors as well as an additional 38 students from Lawrence County Vo-Tech graduating in the class of 2019. There are nine students who will graduate with high honors.

The commencement for Lincoln High School is May 30, 2019, 7 PM – 9 PM, Sgt. Leslie H. Sabo Memorial Auditorium.

The top nine students listed in alphabetical order with photos below:

Katherine I. Bowser, daughter of Kevin and Jennifer Bowser, participated in the National Honor Society, Senior High Student Council, Club Hope, Mentoring Club, Envirothon Club, Spanish Club, History Club, the Caring Team, and Ellwood City Culture Club. She also participated in Lawrence County 4H as a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and a current Jr. Leader. She plans on attending Pennsylvania State University (University Park) to become an Environmental Systems Engineer.

Alex J. Fotia, son of  Joe and Lisa Fotia, was Lincoln’s junior class president and varsity Track Team Co-Captain. He was the former Head Prom Advisor. He participated in ECTV Morning Announcements and Video Production Crew, National Honor Society, German Club, Ellwood City Culture Club, LHS Junior High Mentoring Club, and Senior High Student Council. He plans on attending Robert Morris University to study Computer Information Systems.

Chloe Kuffer, daughter of Luke and Nathalie Kuffer, was the senior class Vice President, National Honor Society Vice President, and the Peer Leadership Vice President. She participated in varsity volleyball as well as unified bocce as team captain. She plans on attending the 3+3 Physical Therapy program at Slippery Rock.

Patricia B. McMillin, daughter of Bob McMillin and Teresa Pogozelec, was apart of the Drama club, Concert Choir & Choral Capers, Ellwood City Culture Club, Envirothon Club, French Club, History Club, Jazz Band, Marching Band Librarian, Concert Band, Musical, and National Honor Society. She plans to attend Youngstown State University to study Physics & Astronomy to become a scientific researcher in the Astronomy field.

Caden M. Myers, son of Mike and Peggy Myers, was a member of student council, French Club, National Honor Society, EC Cubed, Varsity Football, and worked at D’addio Family Nursey. He plans on attending Penn State Behrend to study to become a petroleum or chemical engineer.

Kaitlyn G. Navolio, daughter of Lacey and Chris Navolio, was a member of the History Club, National Honor Society, Art Club, German Club Secretary, Lil Angel’s Softball, Carpenter’s Project of Ellwood City. She plans on attending Youngstown State University to get her my doctorate degree and become an astrophysicist.

Alexander M. Scott, son of Ted Scott and Angelica Sanchez Mason, was a member of the National Honors Society, Peer Leadership(President), Caring Team, Ellwood City Culture Club (President), Marching Band ( V. President), Golf Team Captain, Tennis Team Captain, Spanish Club, Unified Bocce Team, Mentoring Club, VFW TAPS Bugle Boy. Scott plans on attending Pennsylvania State University to become a Chemical Engineer.

Madeline R. Spadafore, daughter of Tania and Eugene Spadafore, was a member of the Peer Leadership Club, National Honor Society as President for 2 years, High School Musical with 3 lead roles, Track and Field, Cross Country, Girl’s Tennis, YMCA Camp-Kon-O-Kwee Spencer Counselor in Training, The Carpenter’s Project, as well as the Senior Class Student Treasurer. Spadafore plans on entering the business field after attending college, to possibly start a business or work for a larger corporation.

Reece R. Wilson, son of Barbara and Richard Wilson, was apart of the Ellwood City Culture Club, History Club, National Honor Society, French Club, Musical, Varsity Soccer Team, Stage Crew, and the Carpenter’s Project. He was also a Religious School Teacher’s Assistant. Wilson participated in Studio P Dance, the Ellwood City Public Library Book Club, and the Ellwood City Public Library Puppet Theater. He plans on attending Youngstown State University to study to become a Mechanical Engineer and/or Mathematician.
