The Riverside baseball and softball teams each collected victories on Friday afternoon.
The boys baseball team jumped out early with four first inning runs en route to a 7-2 home victory over Freedom.
Jackson Barber, Dylan Meyer, and BrockJames each collected two hits as part of the nine hit offensive performance by the Panthers. Meyer walked twice and collected a team-high two RBIs on the afternoon.
Matt Santillo tossed a complete game to earn the victory on the mound for Riverside. Santillo struck out seven batters, allowed five hits and walked two batters. The right-hander surrendered his only two runs in the sixth inning after the Panthers had built a comfortable 7-0 advantage.
Riverside (6-5 Overall) next will travel to face Quaker Valley on Monday at 4:15 p.m. in the first of a two game home-and-home series against the Quakers.

The Lady Panthers made quick work of New Brighton Friday afternoon, picking up a 13-0 mercy rule victory.
Senior Ayla Sterner tossed a five inning no-hitter, striking out eight Lions.
The Drake sisters were each 2-3 at the plate with younger sister Stevie collected two doubles and three RBIs in the victory. The elder sister Addie also doubled and knocked in two runs for the Panthers.
Adde Burry joined the 11-hit offensive onslaught with two hits while Saeryn Hoover knocked in two runs.
The Lady Panthers (4-2 Overall) next host Neshannock on Monday at 4:00 p.m.
