Ellwood City Announces 2023 Borough Clean-Up Date

If you have waste to get rid of, here’s your chance.

The Borough of Ellwood City has announced information on its upcoming borough clean-up day scheduled for next Saturday.

The clean up date is Saturday, September 16th from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Drop off location is the parking lot at 1210 Factory Avenue in Ellwood City, just west of Adams Manufacturing Building #4 and prior to the Moose Lodge.

The cost is $10.00 per passenger vehicle.

You MUST buy a ticket by Thursday, September 14 at noon at Utility Office in the Municipal Building, 525 Lawrence Avenue.  Tags can be purchased at the Utility Billing Window M-F 8:00am-3:30pm.

Curbside pick-up is available for senior citizens and handicapped only for $35.00/household. MUST provide proof to Borough.

Items NOT accepted include: Tires, car batteries, broken concrete, bricks, stones, dirt, dismantled automobiles, containers with liquid (solvents, paint thinners, oil, gas, kerosene), hazardous materials, items containing freon, electronic waste, TVs, desktop and laptop computers, monitors, fax machines, printers, DVR or DVD players, game consoles, and phones.
