Promenade will conclude with the crowning of Prom Queen by Liz Frazer, this year’s Riverside Homecoming Queen. The Queen’s crown is provided by Blocher’s Jewelers in Franklin Township and her flowers by Posies by Patty of Ellwood City – thank you for your annual support!

The King of Prom will be crowned by MORP King, Jeff Weisz. Honorary members of the prom court include Riverside’s foreign exchange students, Jakob Gilhuus from Norway and Csaba Lippa from Hungary.

Members of the Queen’s court are Gina Carr, Kate Henderson, Abby Hughes, Marlin Ondek, Aliya Ottaviani, Piper Panek, and Charlee Sterner. Members of the King’s court are Evan Burry, Sam Hughes, Sam Kline, Nate Kolesar, Joey Reed, Ethan Santillo, and Ryan Weckerly.

A group picture in the old Kindergarten Center playground will follow coronation. Students will caravan to Shakespeare’s for prom festivities until midnight.

After prom will follow at the same location. Riverside’s Parent Prom Committee will provide activities, centerpieces, favors, and more for those attending. The students will enjoy a Night in Vegas and try their luck at a variety of casino games with the chance to win tickets for various prizes.

There will be plenty of opportunities to take fun pictures in Vegas themed accessories inside the Photo Booth and the dance floor will have a fun twist with some dance party accessories!

Each table will feature a handmade Vegas themed centerpiece and everyone will get to take home a souvenir including a set of Riverside playing cards, a themed poker chip and a set of Riverside Prom 2023 dice. Special thanks to Fryer Excavating/M&M Repair for the donation to cover the favors.

Special thanks to National Grind for providing the coffee bar including fun coffee drinks and various toppings.

There is an extensive list of small businesses and individuals who donated money, gift cards, gift baskets and cookies! The Parents’ Prom committee appreciates the continued support to help make this event possible!
