2023 Riverside Prom Courts Announced

Riverside Junior/Senior promenade will take place Friday, May 12, at the Riverside High School auditorium. Students will participate in the Grand March at 6 pm, starting in the gymnasium and proceeding to the auditorium, where the stage has been decorated in this year’s theme, A Night in Vegas. Promenade will conclude with the crowning of Prom Queen by Liz Frazer, this year’s Riverside Homecoming Queen. RHS Student Council To Present Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Program

Riverside High School Student Council will present its annual Senior Citizens Christmas Program & Dinner next week. The afternoon will be full of Christmas favorites with featured entertainment by the High School Chamber Ensemble, Choir, and Band and the Middle School Chorus. Riverside School District To Host Veterans Day Assembly

On Wednesday, Riverside High School will host its annual Veterans Day Assembly. The assembly this year will honor the four Riverside young men who lost their lives in Vietnam. In the fall of 2019, a Riverside graduate visited Riverside High School, asking about our Riverside boys who lost their lives in Vietnam. He explained that he was participating in the Honor Flight program that provides transportation for Vietnam veterans to visit the memorial in Washington DC, and he wanted to be sure to know all their names. Riverside Beaver Co School District Set To Begin 2022-23 Scheduling

Monday marks the beginning of the scheduling process for the 2022-23 school year at Riverside High School. According to a post on the district website, Monday, January 24 through February 4 starts scheduling presentations for grades 8-11 with a move up day scheduled in June. Attention is called to parents of preschool students who live within the Riverside Beaver County School District. Kindergarten Enrollment for the 2022-2023 School Year is set to begin Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Children who will be 5 years old before September 1, 2022 and are residents of the Riverside Beaver County School District are eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2022–2023 school year. Riverside School District Issues COVID-19 Isolation Procedure Update

According to information made available by superintendent Bret Trotta and information made available on the school district website, Riverside Beaver County School District has issued a COVID-19 Isolation Procedure Update. In a statement made available by Trotta, he advises the district held a school board meeting to revisit our Health and Safety Plan on Friday. Mask will remain optional; however, we highly recommend using face-coverings. Riverside Beaver Co. SD Masking Order Update

The Riverside Beaver County School District has posted a masking order update from its administration on the district website this week. In the statement the district advises it will follow the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s order that all staff, students, and visitors wear a mask while indoors in any school building starting on Tuesday, September 7th. Riverside School District Receives Half a Million

Riverside School District was awarded $500,000.00 from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for redevelopment of the school’s natatorium. Riverside is one of the schools in Beaver County with a swimming pool that not only offers recreation to the students within the district, but to the public as well. Installed in 1976, the pool is in need of multiple repairs and redevelopment.
