Riverside Beaver County SD Set To Begin School August 31

The Riverside Beaver County School District is set to return to school on Tuesday, August 31st. The RBCSD District Board of Directors approved a Health and Safety plan to open school full-time for the upcoming school year. Below are excerpts from the Health and Safety Plan from the district website: Unnecessary classroom furniture and items were removed to allow for extra spacing. Student seats (classroom/cafeteria) will remain separated no less than three feet and facing the same direction to the extent possible, and outdoor spaces will be utilized whenever possible. Riverside Middle School Set To Host Meet The Teacher In August

WELCOME BACK! Riverside Middle School will be hosting Meet The Teacher on Monday August 30th for students entering grades 6-8. Specific arrival times,  locations and parking instructions have been made available. This is an opportunity for parents or guardians and students to become familiar with their schedules, meet their teachers, and to be informed of the instructional and classroom expectations established for the 2021-22 school year. Riverside Class of 2021 Set to Graduate Friday

Riverside High School Class of 2021 is set to graduate 110 seniors. Graduation will be Friday, June 4th at 6:00 p.m. at the Riverside football field. Rain date is Saturday, June 5th at noon. Happy Days Musical Coming To Riverside

The Riverside Beaver County School District proudly presents its 2021 musical comedy – “HAPPY DAYS – The Musical” The Riverside High School Theater will present the hilarious musical, HAPPY DAYS – The Musical for four days beginning on Thursday, April 29th through Sunday, May 2nd in the high school auditorium. Riverside School District Employee Placed On Administrative Leave

According to multiple media outlets, a Riverside Beaver County School District employee has been placed on administrative leave after reportings of inappropriate conduct with students. The announcement was made by a board member at Monday night’s school board meeting. A statement made available by the district reads: “The Riverside Beaver County School District as placed an employee on paid administrative leave. After learning about the possible inappropriate conduct with students, the District reported the matter to law enforecement and is taking all other steps requried by law. Riverside School District To Hold Full Virtual Learning On February 9

According to information made available on the district website, the Riverside Beaver County School District will hold a Virtual Day, February 9th and will operate on a regular schedule. Students will attend school virtually on Tuesday and the district will run on a regular schedule. Students will log into their Google Classroom at 7:35 AM. Venezie Sporting Goods & Apparel Announces 2021 Scholarships

Venezie Sporting Goods & Apparel has announced its annual scholarship opportunity for area students this year.  The scholarship, now in its third year, will be available to four local school districts. “We love our community and we love our students, and it is time we continue to recognize them for all their hard work inside and outside of the classroom,” said Vice President of Operations, Vanessa Venezie. Riverside Staff Member Tests Positive For COVID-19

In a letter circulated by the Riverside Beaver County School District on Monday, October 12, 2020, the district was notified that a staff member at Riverside Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19. “It is important for students and staff to self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms every day,” said Superintendent, Bret Trotta in an email on Wednesday. “If you are symptomatic or have been in close contact with a positive case, we ask that they stay home and contact our school nurse.
