Local Man Announces Plans for Brewpub in Former Walnut Ridge School

Business

A local businessman has announced his plan to open a new brew pub and restaurant: The Time Brewpub.

“I am looking to create a true family atmosphere in my facility with large seating capacity, food and drinks, TVs and entertainment, and tons of off-street parking,” said owner Tony Joseph.

Joseph, who said this dream has been a 7-year journey in the making, plans to open his brew pub and restaurant in the former Walnut Ridge Elementary School with good friends Alan Andrews and Jason Skvarla, which is also the location of his fitness center It’s Time Fitness, Sign of the Time’s Salon, Big Time Tan, and T-Time Silkscreening.

“We want to service the area and neighborhood in which the building is located,” Joseph said. “There has been nothing like this there for many years.”

Joseph said he believes his facility is unique because the beer will be brewed directly on the showroom/bar floor and will be the only true brewery located in Ellwood City.

He said The Time Brewpub will have large steak sandwiches, giant burgers, meatball sandwiches, fish sandwiches, homemade pizza, wings, specialty salads, a kids menu and a large appetizer menu. There will be more than 12 craft beers on tap, and Joseph will also serve a variety of Pennsylvania wines and liquor.

Joseph will be hiring for all positions including bartenders, cooks, servers, and bussers.

“We are looking to hire for all roles across the board,” he said.

If you are interested in applying, you can contact Tony at thetimebrewpub@gmail.com.

“I am looking forward to opening the doors to the public,” he said.

EllwoodCity.org will be releasing stories in the future as The Time Brewpub progresses to opening.
