Mayor Anthony J. Court presented a proclamation to Samuel Teolis at the American Legion Post 157 Annual Picnic on August 15th for his dedicated service to Veterans of American Legion Post 157.
“An Unknown author once said: ‘The American flag does not fly because the wind moves past it. The American flag flies from the last breath of each military member who has died protecting it!’ said Mayor Court in his statement.
“These veterans gave up their own personal dreams and goals to fight for a cause greater than themselves. The veterans will always be Hero’s in my eyes and that will never change,” concluded Court.
