POLICE REPORTS: Bar Fights And Assaults

Bar Side Assualt.

Michael Johnson was just spending his Thursday night playing pool at the Breakers Bar in Ellport on Thursday, March 28, when Mark Beachum Jr. came in and caused a little ruckus.

According to a police report, Johnson was leaving when Beachum attacked him. The force of Beachum’s attack brought Johnson to the ground as he sustained injuries to his head and body, luckily none of which were too serious. Beachum had confronted Johnson screaming about the money Johnson owed him from their years in high school.

Police reported to the Ellwood City Hospital around midnight where they proceeded to gather the needed information before confronting Beachum. Beachum has since been charged with harassment and disorderly conduct.

Not Your Typical Evening.

For the past year, a woman on Bridge Street has been dealing with her ex-boyfriend showing up to her home unannounced or just flat out stalking her and on Sunday, March 31, he finally attacked.

According to a police report, the female had her door unlocked in anticipation for her friend to come over for the evening. Minutes later, someone walked in, but it wasn’t her planned company. Once she realized that the male who entered was not her friend, she informed him of how he was not welcomed and that he needed to leave.

The two began arguing before he decided to make things violent and continued to shove her to the ground.

Police were responding to the disturbance but when they got to her residence, he was nowhere to be found. The female has since decided not to press charges.
