When a residential customer receives a notice of delinquency, he/she must apply for an extended payment plan unless payment is being paid IN FULL.
Extended Payment Plan Conditions
- Payment plan shall not exceed 90 days after original due date.
- Agreed amounts are payable for 30-60-90 day periods.
- If amounts are not paid under the current agreement, plans for a second extended plan SHALL NOT be granted.
- It is understood and made clear to persons receiving extended payment plans that current bills MUST also be paid and cannot be made part of the current extended plan.
- If the residential customer is a tenant or person other than the property owner, the payment plan shall be subject to the property owner’s or landlord’s written approval.
- The completed plan must be approved by a Borough Electric employee or Borough Manager.
- If delinquencies relative to the plan continue, the residential service will be terminated.
