Panthers, Danny Fox Shut Out New Brighton

Danny Fox had all the right stuff on Tuesday for the Riverside Panthers, allowing zero runs and besting New Brighton by a score of 10-0

Riverside tallied five runs in the third inning. Drew Speicher, Brian MacMurdo, Ty Thellman, and Fox each had RBIs in the big inning.

Fox was the winning pitcher for Riverside, he went five innings, allowing zero runs on five hits and striking out six.

Riverside collected ten hits on the day. Speicher and Thellman all managed multiple hits for Riverside. Speicher led Riverside with three hits in four at bats.

Jake Francona took the loss for New Brighton. He lasted two and a third innings, allowing seven hits and eight runs while striking out two.  One bright spot for New Brighton was a single by Jackson Hall in the first inning.

New Brighton had five hits in the game. Dakota McBride and Hall each managed multiple hits for New Brighton.
