Mr. Gary L. Forsythe, 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 at the UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township. Gary was born on October 13th, 1944 in Pittsburgh to the late Marshall and Edna (Henderson) Forsythe. He attended Mars High School and is a veteran of the United States Army with a discharge rank of E-4 (Specialist). He worked at Wooding’s Industrial in Mars as a supervisor, Fombell Fabricating, Cullum Mechanical Construction as a plumbing foreman and lastly at Adam’s Manufacturing as a warehouse worker. Mrs. Elizabeth L. Pratt, 100, of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 at UPMC Jamison Hospital in New Castle. Liz was born on June 8th, 1922 in Ellwood City to the late Joseph and Marianna (Anzolliti) Pasta. She graduated from Lincoln High School in January, with the class of 1940. Mr. George R. Garda, 79, formerly of Ellwood City and presently of Mars, Pa passed away on Monday, November, 28th, 2022. Mr. Garda was born in Ellwood City on July 27th, 1943 son of the late George and Flora (Paglia) Garda. He is a member of the Lincoln High School Class of 1961 and had played center on the football team. Ms. Vicki Lynn Gerard, 65, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, November 28th, 2022 at The Grove in New Castle. Vicki was born on September 17th, 1957 in Ellwood City to the late Joseph C. and Martha Ann (Havern) Gerard. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1976. Vicki worked at Christy’s Family Restaurant for years as a waitress, and then worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at the Passavant nursing home in Zelienople for 15 years.
