Library Activities For The Week Of July 22

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

Activities taking place this week include

WEDNESDAY, JULY 24

9:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. It is designed to help reduce stresses of everyday life. All adults are welcome.

Noon – “Bookworms Book Group,” they will be discussing the book “Wolf Brother” by Michelle Paver.

1:00 p.m. – “Building Buddies,” a program of fun and learning for toddlers and preschoolers. This interactive program allows kids to explore building and socialization skills. No registration is required.

6:00 p.m. – “Movie Night for Adults,” featuring new-to-DVD films and refreshments. These monthly events are free and open to all area adults. Call the library for more information or for the title of this month’s movie 724-758-6458.

THURSDAY, JULY 25

Noon – “Food for Thought Book Group,” the group will be discussing the book “Wintersong” by S. Jae- Jones.

6:00 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” which meets weekly to work on individual projects. New members are welcome.

The library is currently accepting books for their annual book sale held in October. No textbooks of any type, magazines, Reader’s Digest Condensed Books, encyclopedias or VHS tapes will be accepted.
