Class of 1954 Christmas Dinner Meeting Recap

Pudue LaCava hosted the annual Christmas Dinner for the 1954 Lincoln High School, “81 Still Having Fun” committee on Thursday, November 30 at 2p.m. at her Mt. Vernon Drive Home.

The full committee in attendance enjoyed a bountiful menu of ravioli, meatballs, sausage, ham, salads, vegetable trays and many desserts, provided by members and served by LaCava and Ilene Gardner. Admiring the beautiful Christmas decorated home added to the socializing of all in attendance.

The informal business session heard reports from Co-Chairman James Spielvogel and on behalf of Chairman Paul Abraham.

Fund Raising reports were presented by James Gillespie and the project will resume in January 2018.

Financial reports were made by Clemmy Sirimarco, committee reports were presented by Rose Massaro and Bob Calve, Mid-Atlantic Chairmen John and Patty Tino presented information on class members in their areas.

“Pinky” Maielli was unable to attend due to illness, provided dessert and extended Holiday greetings to all.

Gardner reported on correspondences received from class members and Birthday cards that she mails monthly to class members. LaCava reported on e-mails received from members and requests for information on the next party to be held July 2018.Flyers and reservations forms will be mailed to all class members.

The next committee meeting will be held January 2018, date and time to be announced, at the LaCava residence.
