Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following:
Wednesday, November 29, at 10:00 a.m. — “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. “Coloring for Adults” is a program designed to help reduce the stresses of everyday life. Everyone is welcome, so call the library at 724-758-6458 for more information.
Wednesday, November 29, at 6:00 p.m. – “Movie Night for Adults,” featuring a new-to-DVD film and refreshments. This event, held monthly, is free and open to all area adults. Call the library for more information or to discover the title of the film to be shown. There will not be a “Movie Night” in December or January, but this program will resume in February.
Thursday, November 30, at 6:00 p.m. – Adult Knitting Group whose members meet weekly to work on individual projects. New members are welcome, so call the library for more information.
Saturday, December 2, at 10:00 a.m. – “Silly Science and Lego Days,” featuring a holiday theme this month. The program is designed for children in kindergarten through 6th grade and centers around silly science experiments and Lego building. No registration is required, so call the library for more information.
The library will host a “Holiday Story Time” for babies, toddlers and preschoolers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4. No registration is required, so call the library for more information.
A “Holiday Movie for Families” will also be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9. This event will feature a full-length holiday movie designed for preschoolers and early elementary-aged children. Refreshments are served. Since this is a family event, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Call the library for more information.
