Ellwood City Library Activities For Week Of November 11

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities.  Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

Activities taking place this week include

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11

The Ellwood City Area Public Library will be closed in observance of Veteran’s Day. Normal hours will resume Tuesday, November 12.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12

10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. – “Family Laptime,” designed for babies as young as 6 months of age, toddlers, and preschoolers. This is an interactive, family event and features stories, songs, games, finger plays and more. Registration is requested.

6:30 p.m. – “Classic Book Group for Adults,” the group will be discussing the book “Trustee from the Toolroom” by Nevil Shute.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13

10:00 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. It is designed to help reduce stresses of everyday life. All adults are welcome.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 14

10:00 a.m. – “Preschool Storytime,” for preschoolers 3 to 5 years old. Those participating must be potty-trained. Stories, songs, games and finger plays are featured. Registration is requested.

3:00 p.m. – “Just for Girls Book Group,” the group will be discussing the book “They Both Die in the End” by Adam Silvera.

6:00 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” which meets weekly to work on individual projects. New members are welcome.

SAVE THE DATE:

The Ellwood City Library will be hosting a “Wine Glass Painting Party,” December 6 at 6:00 p.m. The cost is $35.00 per person which includes two glasses to be painted, wine, cheese and cookies. Tickets are available at the Library.
