The 501st Legion known as Vader’s Fist promotes volunteer work through quality costumed appearances nationwide relating to Star Wars. Ellwood City Library has hosted the group every two years since its 100th anniversary in 2014 and will continue to entertain the group this weekend.
On Saturday, November 10th beginning at 1:00pm, the group will appear in the Ellwood City Area Public Library program room, starting the event off with Star Wars Trivia. Afterwards they are available for questions.
The event is free and open to the public.
They remain men and women of mystery, arriving at the library through the back door with duffel bags and suitcases.
Taking over the staff lounge, they transform into authentic Stormtroopers, sand people, and other characters from the original movie trilogy.
The group will appear in the program room, starting the event off with Star Wars Trivia. Afterwards they are available for questions. The characters spend about an hour cruising around the library and posing for pictures with visitors before they head off on another adventure.
