Man accused of cooking meth and holding knife to girlfriend’s throat

According to the criminal complaint, on August 28 a woman arrived to the police station in hysterics claiming she had a knife put to her throat by her boyfriend, Tyler Michael Cory Amos, 25, of Cochranton, Pennsylvania. The victim said that she woke up from a nap and when she walked into her kitchen she saw Amos cooking a substance in a jar with a hose attached, which she believes was meth. She confronted Amos about the unknown substance and it was at this point Amos chased her through the house pushing her down and punching her repeatedly, then holding a butcher knife to her and threatening to slit her throat. The victim got away from the defendant and went straight to the police station. Amos will be facing charges of aggravated assault and simple assault.

Current boyfriend attacked with a hammer by an angry ex

According to the criminal complaint, on August 28 officers were dispatched to an Ellwood City residence because a woman reported that her boyfriend had been attacked by her ex. When police arrived they made contact with the victim, who stated as he was outside taking the trash out he was struck in the face with a hammer by Richard Dean Craft, 30, of Ellwood. An ambulance was called to the scene due to the visible signs of injury to the victim; the victim sustained lacerations on his face and around his nose, his right eye was swollen almost completely shut, and he had a considerably large amount of blood on his shorts. During EMS evaluation they said the victim was having problems answering questions, such as what year it was, and they also stated that his blood pressure was high. When the police spoke with the girlfriend of the victim, she said that she didn’t see the incident take place but she believed that it stemmed from an earlier incident involving Craft and that she has been going through a child custody battle with the defendant. Police made contact with Craft at his residence, which is located directly across the street from the victims residence, and placed Craft under arrest. Craft denied being involved in the incident and stated that the victim was drunk and probably fell down, he also stated that the ex girlfriend and current boyfriend framed him just so he could get in trouble due to the child custody problems. Craft will be facing charges of simple assault, aggravated assault, and harassment.

Man sustains broken bones after being beaten with rock

According to the criminal complaint, on August 14, police were dispatched to Pagley’s Pour House for a reported fight. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, whose left eye was completely swollen shut, a large gash present on his forehead, and numerous cuts and bruises were scattered along the left side on his face. When asked about the incident the victim said that he was at the Pour House and he stepped outside because he heard his friend was going to be in a fight, it was at this point that he was being punched by the defendant, Quincy Adam McCombs, 25, of Ellwood. The victim also stated that he was hit in the face several times by an unknown object. The victims friends took him to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries, he received stitches and he suffered from several broken bones in his face. Officers proceeded to the Pour House and and observed a puddle of blood all over the top landing of the deck with splatters of blood on the steps and railing, they also observed a large rock laying near the steps that could have been used against the victim. Officers spoke with a witness who claims to have witnessed the whole incident and confirmed that McCombs did have a rock in his hand during the altercation which he used to beat the victims face while the defendants brother, Jed McCombs, 38, of Ellwood, was also seen punching the victim. The witness also added that the defendant and co-defendant took turns beating the unsuspecting victim and even after he fell to the ground they continued to punch him. Police confronted the defendant and he admitted to beating up the victim due to a disagreement they had earlier in the night. Quincy McCombs and his brother Jed McCombs will be facing charges of simple assault and aggravated assault.
