SCRATCH Your Itch for Programming

Beaver Falls—Children 8 to 12 years old novice or intermediate programmers wanted for SCRATCH CAMP the first week of August. On Aug. 1 -4. Newbies to SCRATCH will meet 10:30 a.m. to Noon. Intermediates from 13:20 to 2 p.m. Presentation of creations will be held Saturday August 6 at 11 a.m.

Registration is required, limit 10 students per session. Some room still available. Call the library at 724.846.4340

Scratch is a program designed by MIT to help children learn about programming. Create your own interactive stories, games and animations. Share your creations with others in the online community. SCRATCH is a project of then Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. To learn more about SCRATCH, check out www.scratch.mit.edu.
