The new Wayne Township Tax Office is set to open on Monday, May 2, 2022. Wayne Township Announces Its “Clean Up Day”

Wayne Township has announced its annual clean up day. The township clean up day will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. until noon at the municipal building located at 1418 Wampum Road, Ellwood City, PA 16117. The cost is $10.00 per pickup truck load. Proof of residency, such as a driver’s license, is required. A resident may fill a pickup truck with unwanted items (see exceptions below) and drive to the township building and follow instructions. Wayne Township Announces Modified Meeting

To mitigate the COVID-19 spread, the Wayne Township Supervisor meeting, scheduled for Thursday April 2, 2020 has been modified to transact essential business only. The Board of Supervisors will be participating in a “Conference Call Business Meeting” for the April Board Meeting. According to information made available by the township this morning, Wayne Township offices will not be open to the public until further notice as part of the Lawrence County state of emergency declaration due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Route 288 Bridge Replacement Project Progress

With many focused on the pending status and re-opening of the Koppel Bridge, another local bridge replacement is taking place in Wayne Township and will have forthcoming lane restrictions and brief detour later this month. A Wayne Township Consolidated School Reunion has been planned and is set to take place on Saturday, September 21, 2019. The reunion event will be held at the Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church, located at 258 Slippery Rock Drive, Ellwood City, PA 16117 and is scheduled to take place from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
