Pittsburgh – PennDOT District 11 is announcing daylight bridge washing activities in Lawrence County will occur Wednesday through Friday, June 5-7 weather permitting. Wayne Township residents are invited to participate in the annual clean-up day, which will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until Noon at the Wayne Township Municipal Building, located at 1418 Wampum Road, Ellwood City, PA 16117. This event is for Wayne Township residents only. Proof of residency is required. The cost to participate is $10.00 per pickup truckload. Wayne Township Votes Against Holding Clean-Up Day

In a 2-1 vote, the Wayne Township Board of Supervisors voted against holding its annual clean-up day. The vote was part of new business items at the township’s monthly Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday, March 7th. The Ellwood City Lions Club is having a Night At The Races to raise funds for its 2023 campaign. The campaign provides donations and community services throughout the Ellwood City area.
