Safely dispose of common household chemicals and take advantage of the Beaver County Hazardous Waste Collection event that is scheduled for Saturday, October 8, 2022. New Garbage Service To Be Introduced In Franklin Township

According to information made available by the township, Waste Management pulled their dumpsters yesterday at Franklin Township without any notice. Aiken Refuse has agreed to provide the new service. They will be placing two dumpsters next week, but Aiken green bags will need to be purchased to use these dumpsters. 2021 Hard To Recycle Event Will be Held In Ellwood City

Ellwood City Public Works Garage will hold a “hard to recycle” collection day on July 13th. The collection events have been created by the Lawrence-Mercer Recycling/Solid Waste Department to help people in the community recycle the things that normally are harder to recycle. Ellwood City’s Annual Cleanup to be Held in August

If you have waste to get rid of, here’s your chance. On Saturday, August 10, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. the borough will have dumpsters available at their 1200 Factory Avenue site. The cost is $8 per vehicle load. Residents must have a tag to be able to drop off waste. Tags must be purchased in advance at the utility window at the borough building, 525 Lawrence Ave. Borough employees will be on site to help and to monitor drop off.
