New Borough Trash Contract Anticipated To Begin July 1

In a statement made available by the Borough of Ellwood City on Wednesday, officials now anticipate the new trash contract to begin July 1, 2021. A press release reads as follows: The new Ellwood City Trash Contract is anticipated to begin July 1, 2021. The trash cart manufacturer has given Valley Waste an estimated delivery time of mid-June. REMINDER: Ellwood City Announces “Door to Door Clean Up” Program

Ellwood City Council has approved Valley Waste Service to provide “Door to Door Clean Up” in 2018 for their residents. The total cost of this service, as previously quoted, is $37,950.00. The program will begin on Saturday, September 15, and will run for five consecutive Saturdays concluding on October 13. The “Clean Up Schedule” will be as follows: All Clean Up items must be placed where you normally place your yellow bags for regular trash pickup.
