PHOTOS: Riverside Panther Night 2022

Riverside School District held its annual Panther Night Thursday evening at Riverside Memorial Stadium. The program included the introduction of the Panthers fall sports programs and the Riverside marching band. Across town, Ellwood City held its annual Pie Festival at Lincoln High School. The LHS marching band performed selections from their 2022 pre-game and halftime shows and all Ellwood City fall sports teams were recognized. BACK 2 SCHOOL: Riverside Kindergarten Orientation Announced

Kindergarten is such an exciting year full of new experiences for both our students and their families! Prior to the first official day of school for the 2022-2023 year, Riverside Beaver County School District has announced Kindergarten Teach Assignments and Kindergarten Orientation. In 1st-12th grades, parents can log into Skyward on August 15th to view students’ teachers and schedules. Due to kindergarten students not yet having their logins, automated calls will be sent at 10 a.m. August 15th with your child’s teacher assignment. The Riverside Pool Is Open This Summer

According to the Riverside Beaver County School District website, the Riverside Pool is reopening this summer for lap swimming, lessons, family swimming, and more. The schedule is as follows: Daily lap swimming from 7:30 a.m. to noon Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; Family swimming from 12:30-4 p.m. Monday-Friday; Scheduled pool parties from 12:30-4 p.m. Monday-Friday; Water Zumba from 10-10:45 a.m. on Saturdays. Water Zumba classes began June 11th and are offered at a $5.00 fee per class. There is a $2.00 entry fee to use the pool. Riverside Class of 2022 Set to Graduate Friday

Riverside High School Class of 2022 is set to graduate 110 seniors. Graduation will be Friday, June 3rd at 6:00 p.m. at the Riverside High School football field. Rain date is scheduled to be Saturday at noon if necessary. CDC Lifts Mandate For Masking On School Transportation

Effective Friday, February 25, 2022, the CDC announced it does not require wearing of masks on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems, including early care and education/child care programs. Mike DeOtto, President of the Ellwood City Wolves Club Den 2, announced this week that the Club will be giving an outstanding community service award to a local individual, student, or group who resides in the Ellwood City Area School District or the Riverside Beaver County School District.
