4th Annual Dog Days Of Summer Returns Next Weekend

Woof, woof! The fourth annual Reed’s Services Dog Days of Summer event will take place next weekend in Ewing Park. The multi-day event is scheduled to take place 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21st and Saturday, June 22nd, and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 23rd. The event is rain or shine, pet friendly, and will benefit police K9 unites in Lawrence and Beaver counties. ECPD Introduces New Vehicle For K-9 Program

The Ellwood City Police Department brought home its new police K9 vehicle this week. The 2021 Dodge Charger was purchased utilizing funds raised through Reed Services as well as assistance other generous donors and fundraisers. Reed Services, Sgt. Michael McBride as well as K9 Officer Richard Kruger will be going to Shallow Creek Kennel on February 7, 2022 to meet with the representatives and to choose the new K9 for the Ellwood City Police Department. Come out and enjoy the dog days of summer! Reed’s Pet & Livestock Feed & Supplies will be hosting its first annual “Dog Days Of Summer” fundraising event next month. Ewing Park Gets ‘Paw-some’ New Addition Thanks to Reed’s Services

Life can be “Ruff.” But not for the dogs in Ewing Park thanks to Reed’s Services. Located at the intersection near the Kids Creative Kingdom is a doggy destination: A new treat and waste station. The five-star, bright red, dog box is quite “fetching” and is full of yummy goodies. Reed’s is known for supporting Ellwood City, in fact this treat station, fully funded and donated by Reed’s, was inspired by their Christmas Tree during Ewing Park’s Christmas in the Park.
