WEEKLY ROUND-UP: Ellwood City Sports

ELLWOOD CITY CROSS COUNTRY: Ellwood City swept Beaver Falls and Shenango handedly on Tuesday. Four Wolverine runners took the top four spots in the boys overall. Junior Bradley Custer led the way with an overall low time of 16:57.31. The strong team effort earned a 15-50 win over Beaver Falls and 16-49 win over Shenango. REC Wrestling to Hold 2023-24 Sign-Ups

Set Goals. Have A Plan. Work Hard, & Improve Every Day! The REC (Riverside-Ellwood City) Youth Wrestling will hold sign-ups for on Monday, October 2nd, Tuesday, October 3rd and Thursday, October. 5th in North Side Elementary School cafeteria. Sign-ups will be held from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. Sign-up sheets will be available during that time and are also available to view here. Registration cost is $150 per wrestler. Registration fee covers entry into the league, insurance and wrestling warm-ups (shirt and shorts). REC Wrestling is for both boys and girls ages 5-12. Age is determined by the wrestler’s age…

REC Wrestling to Hold Sign-Ups

REC (Riverside-Ellwood City) Wrestling will hold sign-ups for youth wrestling on Monday, November 1, 2021 in the Lincoln High School cafeteria. Sign-ups will be held from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. Sign-up sheets will be available then, also. Registration is $75.00 per wrestler. Registration fee covers entry into the league, insurance and wrestling warm-ups (shirt and shorts). Assistance available if needed. Do not let the registration fee prevent your child from wrestling. REC Wrestling is for both boys and girls ages 5-12. REC Wrestling Registration Information

On Thursday, October 25 from 6:00 p.m until 7:30 p.m, boys and girls from first grade up to sixth grade can come and sign up for the 2018-2019 REC Wrestling season. This is the third and final date in a series of registrations dates held for the program. Sign ups will be held in the Lincoln High School Commons Area. The REC Wrestling program fundamentals include safety, sportsmanship, fun and achievement. “Set goals. Have a plan. Work hard. Improve every day.” There’s a $80 single registration fee, or a family fee of $120. These expenses covers entry into the league….
