(AP) — Authorities say a North Sewickley Township father fatally shot his daughter’s boyfriend because he believed he had gotten her “hooked on drugs.” Michael D’Bagio, 41, of Sanger Drive, is charged homicide and aggravated assault after fatally shooting an Ellwood City teenager, 17-year-old Darren Jevcak, after a confrontation outside of Jevcak’s employer in New Castle. A jury found Carl Zedak, 52, guilty of aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Boyfriend Leaves Girlfriend With Swollen Eye On Monday, November 26, Pennsylvania State Police were called to a home on Mill Bridge Road in Slippery Rock Township at 8:18 p.m. on reports of a boyfriend beating his girlfriend. Local Home Broken Into According to the Ellwood City Police, a resident on Hazel Avenue reported that their house had been broken into on Monday, November 5. The victim said that they had just arrived home from the hospital when they discovered that the glass of the front interior door of their house had been shattered.
