MISSING PERSON: Pennsylvania State Police received reports of a missing person on December 29, 2021. It is reported Lauren Cortez, 32, of New Castle, had left her residence with a known male on December 28th at approximately 4:45 p.m. and last spoke with her parents at 7:35 p.m. relating she was traveling to College Hill in Beaver Falls with the known male and two unknown males. TERRORISTIC THREATS: On December 1st, 2021, the New Castle Patrol Unit was dispatched to Mohawk School Road in North Beaver Township. Te incident occurred as the victim and the suspect were engaging in communication via social media SnapChat. During the communication, the suspect requested illicit photos from the victim during which he threatened her for them. The victim adhered to the suspects request and sent the illicit photos. THEFT: According to a criminal complaint, Jason Mulig, 46, of Ellwood City, is charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking after an incident on November 1, 2021. According to the report, at approximately 5:38 p.m. police were dispatched to Dollar General on Lawrence Avenue, Ellwood City for the reported theft. The victim advised police she had two twenty dollar bills stolen from her purse. The victim stated she leaves her purse in the front of the store, under surveillance, while she is working in the store. BREAKING & ENTERING: According to a criminal complaint, on October 13th at approximately 5:33 a.m., Ellwood City police were dispatched to a report of an interior burglary alarm at Fraternal Orders of Eagles on Lawrence Avenue. No forced entray was observed but later that day a member of the club told officers that someone broke into the club the prior night. The club member showed police video footage that shows a white male exit the restroom on the second floor of the building at 5:21 a.m., and the individual was later identified as William Donahoe, 63, of Ellwood City. MOTORCYCLE THEFT: According to a criminal complaint, on Tuesday, October 26 at 6:00 p.m. officers were dispatched to Spring Avenue for a motor vehicle theft. The victim advised that someone had stole his 2004 Harley Davidson Sportser 883 motorcycle from out in front of the funeral home. The victim told police he was at the funeral home to mourn the loss of a friend, Andrew Small. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, PROPERTY DAMAGE: According to a criminal complaint, on September 26 Ellwood City Police responded to a domestic incident at a residence on Perry Street. Upon arrival police made contact with Tyler Clingensmith, 26, of Ellwood City and a female outside the residence. It was found that Clingensmith was highly intoxicated and had taken the female’s Jeep off-roading and possibly totaled it. Police observed the Jeep covered in mud with damage underneath and a pip hanging. NOISE DISTURBANCE: Amber Jewel Perez, 36, of Ellwood City, is charged with aggravated harassment, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, public intoxication and harassment earlier this month. According to a criminal complaint, officers were called to the neighborhood of Loop Street where they heard loud music coming from a residence. Perez and another woman were in a hot tub on the porch playing loud music. The police instructed them to turn down the music and Perez complied. At 5:35 a.m., the police were sent back to the address for another disturbance. A caller reported that the music was getting louder. Perez emerged…

SEXUAL ASSAULT OF CHILD: Adam Mitchell, 33, of Canton, Ohio, is facing multiple charges, including Aggravated Indecent Assault of a Child and Indecent Assault of Person Younger than 13 Years of Age after an incident in February. According to the criminal complaint, each separate incident occurred when Mitchell was home alone with the victim, who at the time was 12 years of age, and was suppose to keep an eye on the child while her mother was at work. MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: According to a report, police were dispatched to a one vehicle accident on Plain Grove Road, near Harlansburg Road, in Lawrence County on Sunday, September 12 at approximately 5:45 p.m. where, upon arrival, it was found after interviewing witnesses, the operator of 2010 Harley-Davidson had fallen over on his motorcycle with it resting on his leg causing a suspected serious leg injury. The operator, David Difrischia, 58, of Ellwood City, was transported to the Grove City Hospital where signs of impairment were observed.
