POLICE: Weekly Police Blotter

ASSAULT:
A 27-year-old female from New Castle is charged with Simple Assault and Harrassment after an incident on April 10 in Wayne Township, Lawrence County. According to the PA State Police report, Caitlin Gardner engaged in a verbal altercation with her 56-year-old mother that led to Gardner pushing her mother as she left her residence on Ellwood Road. The resulting fall caused minor injuries to the victim.

BURGLARY:
A burglary was reported on Van Gorder Mill Road in Perry Township between time the times of April at midnight and April 10 at noon. According to a PA State Police report, the 56-year-old man from Ellwood City reported that during the past week at an unkown time a person made entry to an unlocked shed and removed a 10 person blue Ozark tent. The value of the tent was reported to be $200.00. There is no surveillance or witnesses at this time.

VEHICLE BURGLARY:
On April 15 at approximately 8:18 a.m. Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to a theft from a motor vehicle that occured on Wurtemburg Road, Wayne Township. According to the report, the actor, a W-N/M wearing a black hoodie, jeans and a tan jacket entered two unlocked vehicles at the victims residence in the early morning hours on April 15. The actor was driving what appeared to be a silver in color later model Hyundai Elantra. Change, flash drives, and various keys were taken from the vehicles.

The actor meeting the same description is suspected to be involved in two incidents of theft from vehicles being investigated by the Ellwood City PD. These occured the same time frame as the above incident.
