HARRISBURG – Rep. “Friends Of The Park” Help Fix Up Wampum Community Park

Wampum Park is a local park that over the years had began to get run down and was in need of repairs and updates and when Karen Goebel saw this, she knew someone needed to do something. New Playground & Features Coming To Lawrence Avenue & 7th Street

A new construction project at the 7L Playground is in full swing! Borough of Ellwood City Public Works Department crews are currently completing site prep work right now on the southeast corner of the intersection of 7th Street and Lawrence Avenue (7L) in advance of the installation of new equipment. “We do not have a timeline as much of the work is weather permitting and we are not certain we are done with the snow just yet,” said Public Works Secretary Rhiannon Schnell.
