Riverside Lions Club Collecting Hygiene Products As Part Of Hygiene Helpers Program

The Riverside Lions Club will once again be collecting hygiene products as part of its Hygiene Helpers program. This is now the fifth year the Hygiene Helpers program will be at the Franklin Township Giant Eagle. The products collected are divided equally between the Riverside nurses and Divine Grace Social Services. Riverside Lions Busy With Donations And Fundraisers

The Riverside Lions have been busy over the last few months with donations and fundraisers according to King Lion Chip Campbell. First, the Lions donated money along with hygiene products, provided by Dr. Marion and Miracle Dental, to the Divine Grace Ministerium. “The donations were made through the Hygiene Helpers initiative supported by the Riverside Lions and will be used to buy hygiene products for some of the over 300 families supported by Divine Grace Food Bank,” says Campbell. Riverside Lions Club Distributes Gifts, Supports Hygiene Helpers This Past Holiday Season

The Riverside Lions Club was busy during the holiday season. With the support of Project Homefront the club was able to distribute toys to five different locations in our area just in time for Christmas. The club distributed them to Riverside Elementary School, Perry Elementary, North Side Kindergarten, Central Valley School, and Divine Grace Social Services. Riverside Lions Club Stays Busy With Hygiene Helpers, Food Drives

The Riverside Lions would like to thank the residents of the Ellwood City area and particularly Ellport for supporting our collections recently of both food supplies for the Holy Redeemer Food Bank and the Hygiene Helpers boxes located at the Franklin Township Giant Eagle and area Dollar General stores. Riverside Lions Club Continues Their Community Outreach With A Variety of Programs

The Riverside Lions Club is continuing their community outreach through a variety of programs. Once again, the club had the opportunity of being able to distribute thousands of school supplies to six different schools in the area. Hygiene Helper Container Introduce At Giant Eagle

A new container introduced at Ellwood City Giant Eagle is aimed to help provide hygiene products for kids in need. Gina Morini Felouzis, of Mario’s Giant Eagle, in Ellwood City, and Riverside Lions club president, Chip Campbell, introduced the new contained stationed within Giant Eagle to collect donated hygiene products. The donated items will be distributed among area students in need. Campbell hopes people will treat the container like ‘Toys for Tots,’ only for hygiene products that, although not recognized, have a great bearing on student’s performance in the classroom.
