The annual Ellwood City Halloween Parade will take place on Saturday, October 23rd in downtown Ellwood City. IT’S BACK! Our Annual Halloween Costume Contest

It’s that time of the year again, EllwoodCity.org will be holding our annual Halloween Costume Contest. Each year we have received dozens of entries – and 2020 will be no different!  Let’s make this year even more spooky or funny with your son or daughter’s costume photo submission! According to information made available from the Borough of Ellwood City this week, the Ellwood City and Ellport Trick or Treat times have changed. Hill View Manor Hosting Trick or Treat

On Sunday, October 25th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., school-age kids (ages 5-12) can visit a Scare Manor attraction (kid themed) and walk through a Truck n Treat area for treats at the Hill View Manor in New Castle. All admission fees for event will be donated to Shenango Township K-9 Unit. One nonpaying parent or guardian must accompany a minor at all times (up to 3 kids per adult). PHOTOS: Annual Ellwood City Halloween Parade

In what may feel like annual conditions, wet weather and rain met those who paraded Lawrence Avenue on Saturday as part of the annual Ellwood City Halloween Parade. Many onlookers grabbed an umbrella and jacket to enjoy costumes, candy, and floats. The parade began at Holy Redeemer and continued west on Lawrence Avenue to 8th Street before returning on Crescent Avenue. Many area Trick or Treats are scheduled for Thursday evening. The Borough of Ellwood City will hold trick or treating from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.


5th Annual R.O.A.R. Haunted Hayride and Maze Announced

The 5th Annual Haunted Hayride and Maze, sponsored by Riverside Outdoor Athletic Renovation (ROAR), has announced its dates for the year.
