Due to weather forecasts, Ellwood City and many surrounding areas Trick Or Treat dates have been rescheduled to Saturday.
According to a release from the Office of the Mayor:
Based on the current weather forecast for the scheduled trick-or-treat on Thursday night, I am rescheduling the Borough of Ellwood City Trick Or Treat For Saturday, November 2, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Ellport Borough, Franklin Township, North Sewickley Township, Perry Township, and Wayne Township have all also formally submitted notices as to their date/time changes. All have confirmed date change to Saturday, November 2nd from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
A Weather.com forecast calls for a 100% chance of rain on Thursday with rainfall possibly over one inch. Nighttime will see temperates fall to around 35F with winds at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.
