Craft & Vendor Show On Saturday

Come out and enjoy a craft and vendor show on Saturday, May 4th. The show will take place at Lillyville Church of God, located on Hickernell Road, Ellwood City. Basket raffles, red & white pizza, nachos, Orams doughnuts, and bake sale will be offered in addition to the crafts vendors on display. The event is sponsored by the Ellwood City Area Municipal Woman’s Club and all proceeds go towards scholarship awards and area civic needs.


Two Local Students Receive Scholarships At Municipal Woman’s Club May Banquet

Two local students received scholarships as part of the Municipal Woman’s Club banquet that took place May 22nd at Joey’s Event Room on Lawrence Avenue Gianna Fotia, of Lincoln High School, and Abigail Hughes, of Riverside Beaver County, were the recipients of the scholarships. Fotia was accompanied by her parents, Joe and Lisa Fotia, and was presented the scholarship by Cheryl Valvano. Hughes was accompanied by her parents, Adam and Toni Hughes, and was presented her scholarship by Nancy Walton. Space Still Available For Municipal Woman’s Spring Craft Show

Vendor space is still available for the upcoming Municipal Woman’s Spring Craft Show scheduled to take place next month. Come out and exhibit to take part in the craft show that will take place on May 6th at the Wayne Township Firehall. Vendor fee is $25.00 and will earn a space with a table. Municipal Women’s Club Hosts New K9 Officer During January Meeting

The Ellwood City Municipal Women’s Club hosted the newest Ellwood City K9 Officer “Nico” as part of its January meeting last month. The K9 and his handler Officer Rich Kruger put together a wonderful demonstration of Nico’s skills for the members in attendance. The program was hosted by membership chairman Joanne Lowrie. Municipal Woman’s Club to Host Murder Mystery Dinner

It’s dinner to die for … The Municipal Woman’s Club is pleased to present The Death of Dr. Frankenstein, a murder/mystery dinner performed by Musical Mysteries & More. The event will benefit the Municipal Woman’s Club Scholarship Fund and will be held on October 20 at Shakespeare’s. Doors open at 6:15. Municipal Woman’s Club Presents Scholarships and 2022 Woman of The Year Award

The Municipal Woman’s Club of Ellwood City held their annual May banquet at the Calvin Church on May 23, 2022 at 6 pm. Toastmistress, Nancy Fenton welcomed members and guests, the Invocation was given by Kathy Gorzkowski, and the delicious banquet dinner was prepared and catered by member, Cheryl Valvano, with the help of her husband Tony, niece Lora Lohr, and Phyllis Conway. Ellwood City Municipal Woman’s Club to Host Craft/Vendor Show

It’s a first for the Ellwood City Municipal Woman’s Club. First Annual Craft/Vendor Show that is. The group will be hosting the event on Saturday, December 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Wayne Township Fire Hall. The objective of the club is to develop the educational, civic, and social interests of its members and to advance the welfare of the community.
