Vogel Announces Over $20 Million Awarded in Beaver & Butler Counties To Improve Access to High-Speed Internet

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority (PBDA) announced today that Comcast Cable Communications, LLC (Beaver County) is being awarded over $4.2 million and Armstrong Telecommunications, Inc. (Butler County) is being awarded over $16.6 million to increase access to reliable, high-speed internet, according to Sen. PITTSBURGH – Pittsburgh-based nonprofit the Mansmann Foundation launched its premier program Entrepreneurs Forever, at an event on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. The event welcomed business owners from Beaver County, and marked the debut of the program in the area. The Beaver County Conservation District’s Mosquito Vector Disease Program is hosting a one-day tire collection at the district office and environmental center on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Grants Awarded To Six Beaver County Law Enforcement Agencies

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) approved grants today to help several Beaver County law enforcement agencies better protect their communities, according to Sen. Elder Vogel (R-47). The grants were awarded as part of PCCD’s Local Law Enforcement Support Grant Program, which was created by lawmakers in the state budget approved in July. Safely dispose of common household chemicals and take advantage of the Beaver County Hazardous Waste Collection event that is scheduled for Saturday, October 8, 2022. Beaver Tales – Beaver County Conservation District Updates

The Beaver County Conservation District held a spring tire collection event on April 1st and April 2nd at the district office. We accepted light truck and car tires up to 20” off rim at a cost of $2.50 per tire. This discounted price was possible through the West Nile Virus Grant for education and habitat reduction. We collected over 1,000 tires during the 2-day event. Like our past tire collections, we used the services of Liberty Tire Recycling. Beaver County Reassessment Program Set To Begin

All things change with time. Beaver County’s Assessment system is no exception. Beaver County has contracted with Tyler Technologies to conduct a reassessment project to update property assessments from a base year of 1982, providing an efficient technical process with current, accurate property values. According to information made available by Franklin Township, starting Thursday, Tyler Technologies will begin visiting properties in Franklin Township as part of this county reassessment program.
