Jeff and Mary Sainato Wins Ellwood City 2018 Beautification Award

Mayor Court was honored to present the 5th 2018 Beautification Award on Saturday, to Jeff and Mary Sainato of Woodside Avenue. Along with a 2018 Beautification Award Winner sign, the Sainato’s received a gift certificate to a local restaurant. This is the 8th year for Mayor Court’s Beautification Award Program and it has been a huge success. There will be a total of 7 Winners in 2018, so if you know of someone that you feel should get this award, you can contact Mayor Court by phone, facebook or in person with your nomination.

Mayor Anthony J. Court Presents Second and Third Beautification Awards

Mayor Anthony J. Court was honored to present to the 2nd Beautification Award Winner a yard sign and a gift certificate for a local restaurant to Melissa Maddalon. Ellwood City Residents Turn Properties Into Beautiful Landscapes

Mayor Court has announced that once again Ellwood City residents will turn their properties into beautiful landscapes, bring the neighborhoods back to life for everyone to enjoy. This will be the 8th year that Mayor Court will present “Beautification Awards” and restaurant certificates to six (6) area residents who are nominated for taking pride in their properties throughout Ellwood City. Residents are encouraged to participate, by both beautifying your properties or by nominating someone you feel does a great job in making their property stand out in the neighborhood. Third Street Resident Wins Final Beautification Award

On Tuesday, Mayor Anthony J. Court presented to Ronalyn Parsons of 3rd Street, Ellwood City with the 6th and final 2017 Beautification Award Winner sign and gift certificate. The landscape at her families home shows the care and effort put into making the it enjoyable view for others. Mayor Court wants to thank everyone who participated in this annual event. Many nominations were received and he wishes he could award many more residents. Mayor Court wishes to thank those businesses who donated the gift certificates and the Ellwood City Forge for helping with the signs.

On Thursday, 6-29-17 Mayor Court presented the 4th 2017 Beautification Award yard sign and Gift Certificate to Ginny Brest of Fountain Avenue. Almost every year since the program began, someone from her neighborhood has nominated Ginny for this award. Her landscape is always pristine perfect and it’s always an honor to present the award to people who truly care about how their hard work has paid off.

On Tuesday, Mayor Court presented the 3rd 2017 Beautification Award and Gift Certificate to Ellwood City resident Marsha Fusetti of Johnston Drive.  The Mayor congratulated Marsha for her beautiful and well maintained gardens around her home. There are still 3 more Award Winners that can be nominated to receive this 2017 Beautification Award Winner sign and gift certificate, so the Mayor is encouraging everyone if you feel someone is well deserving to this presentation, be sure to nominate them.

For the past six years, Mayor Court has presented to area residents a special “Beautification Award” sign along with a local restaurant gift certificate. This year the first Award went to Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Loraine Buzzelli of Meadowridge Drive. The Buzzelli’s were nominated by an undisclosed resident who felt that the Buzzelli’s had spend considerable time and effort into making their home surroundings extra special.
