1st Beautification Winner of 2019

The Borough of Ellwood City and the Mayor’s Office has announced the 1st presentation of the “2019 Beautification Winner” Mayor Anthony J. Court awarded the beautification award to Mike and Shanna Meyer of Center Avenue, Ellwood City. The Meyer’s have done an amazing job making their property come to life and making Ellwood City proud. Seventh and Final Beautification Award Presented to Valerie Custozzo

Another 2018 Beautification Award Winner has been presented by Mayor Court yesterday to Valerie Custozzo of Jefferson Avenue. Valerie was given a yard sign and a gift certificate to a local restaurant to show appreciation for the beautiful landscaping of her property. Unfortunately this is the final award to be presented this year to area residents that take pride and work hard to make their homes and Ellwood City attractive for all to see. Park Avenue Resident Wins 6th Beautification Award

It was with great pleasure that Mayor Anthony J. Court presented the #6 Beautification Award Winners with a 2018 Award Winner Yard Sign and a gift certificate to a local restaurant. The recipients are Zeta Pesano and Corinne Rutter Borselli of Park Avenue. Jeff and Mary Sainato Wins Ellwood City 2018 Beautification Award

Mayor Court was honored to present the 5th 2018 Beautification Award on Saturday, to Jeff and Mary Sainato of Woodside Avenue. Along with a 2018 Beautification Award Winner sign, the Sainato’s received a gift certificate to a local restaurant. This is the 8th year for Mayor Court’s Beautification Award Program and it has been a huge success. Ellwood City Residents Turn Properties Into Beautiful Landscapes

Mayor Court has announced that once again Ellwood City residents will turn their properties into beautiful landscapes, bring the neighborhoods back to life for everyone to enjoy. This will be the 8th year that Mayor Court will present “Beautification Awards” and restaurant certificates to six (6) area residents who are nominated for taking pride in their properties throughout Ellwood City. Residents are encouraged to participate, by both beautifying your properties or by nominating someone you feel does a great job in making their property stand out in the neighborhood. Third Street Resident Wins Final Beautification Award

On Tuesday, Mayor Anthony J. Court presented to Ronalyn Parsons of 3rd Street, Ellwood City with the 6th and final 2017 Beautification Award Winner sign and gift certificate. The landscape at her families home shows the care and effort put into making the it enjoyable view for others. Mayor Court wants to thank everyone who participated in this annual event. Many nominations were received and he wishes he could award many more residents. Mayor Court wishes to thank those businesses who donated the gift certificates and the Ellwood City Forge for helping with the signs.

Almost every year since the program began, someone from her neighborhood has nominated Ginny for this award. Her landscape is always pristine perfect and it’s always an honor to present the award to people who truly care about how their hard work has paid off.
