2020 Mayor’s Beautification Awards To Commence

It’s that beautiful time of the year again! Mayor Anthony J. Court will be starting his “Beautification Award Program” in Ellwood City. This has been a trying year and now it’s time to bring life back to our neighborhoods. Mayor Court started this program 10 years ago and it has been a huge success. 6th And Final Beautification Award Handed Out

The 6th and final Beautification Award and gift certificate for 2019 has been handed out. Congratulations to Vivian and Bob Hummel from Woodside Avenue. The Mayor’s Office says the pair has done a wonderful job on maintaining their property and it shows. Congratulations to all of the 2019 winners. Fifth Beautification Award Has Been Presented

On July 1, 2019, Mayor Court presented Gary Rozanski of Jefferson Avenue, Ellwood City with the 5th 2019 Beautification Award yard sign and gift certificate. Gary’s property shows the effort and care put into making our community beautiful for everyone to enjoy. There is still one more Award and a gift certificate to be presented by Mayor Court for the 2019 Season. 4th Winner Of The Mayor Beautification Award

On Monday, June 24th Mayor Anthony J. Court presented to Rhonda Norman of Foch Street, Ellwood City with a yard sign and a restaurant gift certificate as the fourth winner of the award this year “Exceptional job by Hogue’s Lawn and Landscape Maintenance,” said Court. “Beautiful!” There are two more winners left to be awarded for this 2019 Season. 3rd Winner For The Mayor Beautification Award

On Monday, June 17th Mayor Anthony J. Court presented to Filipino and Mary Dalessio from Line Avenue, with a yard sign and a restaurant gift certificate.  The Dalessio’s are the 3rd Beautification Winners for 2019. “It is easy to see the hard work they put into their property to create this beautiful landscaping,” said Court. The Borough of Ellwood City and the Mayor’s Office has announced the 1st presentation of the “2019 Beautification Winner” Mayor Anthony J. Another 2018 Beautification Award Winner has been presented by Mayor Court yesterday to Valerie Custozzo of Jefferson Avenue. Valerie was given a yard sign and a gift certificate to a local restaurant to show appreciation for the beautiful landscaping of her property. Unfortunately this is the final award to be presented this year to area residents that take pride and work hard to make their homes and Ellwood City attractive for all to see. Park Avenue Resident Wins 6th Beautification Award

It was with great pleasure that Mayor Anthony J. Court presented the #6 Beautification Award Winners with a 2018 Award Winner Yard Sign and a gift certificate to a local restaurant.
